Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu

Namaste! And welcome to Kathmandu, the colourful capital of Nepal where ornately carved balconies mingle with beautiful shrines and temples. Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting on arrival at the exit gate of Kathmandu airport. Our staff will welcome you and pick you to your accommodated hotel. Please seek our company palmplate to find our staff at the main exit gate of the airport. Rest of the day you can relax at the hotel or short evening walk around local market on your own as per your wish.

Day 02 Rest and preparation day

A well deserved rest day at cosy of hotel after a long tiring flight. This day, one can move around nearby local market to purchase or hire trekking equipment that is necessary for the trekking like sleeping bags, walking sticks etc, exchange currency as requirement or simply walk around in the local market or Kathmandu Durbar squire nearby with small entrance fee as per your preference on your own. Evening at the hotel lobby there will be pre-trip briefing in which you will be introduced with your trekking guide and explained about your trip in short, instruction for safety etc.

Day 03 Drive to Pokhara(820m.)

A fascinating overland journey through the heart of Nepal to our restful group hotel in the Lakeside area of ever-popular Pokhara.

Day 04 Drive to Birethanti and trek to Hile(1475m.)

It is a short drive to the start of our trek at Birethanti. We meet our trekking crew and start trekking up Bhurungdi Khola valley, where the trail gently climbs to Hille. We camp for the night at Hille or in nearby Tikhedunga. Here we spend our first night under canvas.

Day 05 Trek to Ghorepani(2750m.)

Beyond Hille the trail steepens until reaching Ulleri where we are rewarded with views of Annapurna South & Hiunchuli. It is good to do this climb before the heat of the day. From Ulleri the trail climbs less steeply, passing through pastures and cultivated fields before reaching rhododendron forests and the blue roofs of Ghorepani. If the clouds are obliging, we will be rewarded with fantastic views from this vantage point.

Day 06 Ascent Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani(2590m.)

We rise early for the 45 minute trek to Poon Hill 3193m one of the most famous places to watch the sun rise across the magnificent Himalayan panorama from Dhaulagiri, across the Annapurna range to Manaslu. About 50 big and small peaks will line up for your camera. After returning to Ghorepani for breakfast we set off on the short climb to Deorali. After this the path undulates to our camp at Tadapani.

Day 07 Trek to Ghandruk(1950m.)

A shorter day today as we trek to the Gurung village of Ghandrung. The village is beautifully set against the peaks of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhare and Huinchuli (6441m). We will lunch and camp at Ghandrung. In the afternoon you are free to visit the village, including the Annapurna Conservation Area Project Office and Gurung Museum.

Day 08 Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara(820m.)

Leaving Ghandruk we descend toward the valley, arriving at Shaule Bhatti for lunch. After lunch we follow the slowly descending trail to Birethani and continue further down to Nayapul where we end our trek and drive back to Pokhara. In Pokhara we can look forward to a couple of nights in on of our group hotels.

Day 09 Exploration day in Pokhara

Today is a well-earned rest, and time to explore Pokhara. You can hire a boat on the lake (Phewa Tal) to look back at the mountains, or just sit and enjoy the tempting luxuries offered by the many lakeside restaurants. The Lakeside area of Pokhara is also a delightful place to shop for souvenirs and presents.

Day 10 Raft and drive to Chitwan

After breakfast we travel by road to Mugling for the start of our rafting programme on the mighty Trisuli River. We raft for about 3-4 hours with a packed lunch along the way. This section of the river offers fairly gentle rafting, and a great introduction to an exhilarating sport. From the place where we land, we drive to Chitwan National Park in the late afternoon. We can relax for the remainder of the day in the spacious garden of the lodge.

Day 11 Chitwan National Park

We have a full day in Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s best known wildlife reserve. Searching for species such as tiger, rhino, deer, monkeys and the many birds the park is famed for. Our activity programme will typically some of the following activities: elephant back safari, jeep safari, canoe safari, jungle walk, visit the Gharial project and an ethnic Tharu village. A highlight for many is the chance to see the elephants bathing in the river (this will not be possible if there are young elephants in the herd). In the evening we return to the lodge, where dinner will be ready.

Day 12 Drive to Kathmandu

After breakfast and morning safari activities, we drive back to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free

Day 13 Explore Bhaktapur

Morning visit to Bhaktapur, one time capital now a World Heritage Site. This wonderful city of narrow brick-paved streets, ancient temples and palaces, intricate stonework and woodcarvings still retains its timeless flavour, where life continues much as it has for centuries. The afternoon is free to explore Kathmandu and time for some last minute shopping.

Day 14 Final departure

We say 'Namaste' for memories that will last a lifetime. There are no activities planned for today and you are able to depart the hotel at any time. Check out time from the hotel is at 12 noon. Equipment List

Clothing and Equipments List
» Pack to pack out - bring enough waterproof bags to carry all non-biodegradable rubbish back down the mountain.
» Remove all unnecessary packaging before leaving home.
» Bring enough warm dry clothes so that you can wrap up rather than burn firewood in the evenings.
» If you are going to trek higher than 5000m or you know it will be cold, buy an aluminum water bottle which can also be used as a hot water bottle at night.
» The easiest way to keep hydrated while trekking is to buy a 1 x liter platypus-drinking bladder to carry in your day pack.
» Make sure to buy proper trekking socks. Don’t buy synthetic socks as these promote sweating and can give you blisters. Always carry a few blister pads in your first aid kit and keep them handy in your day pack.
» Walking poles are very useful while trekking and helpful when descending.
» Please remember that waste disposal and recycling facilitates are limited in Nepal. When buying batteries make sure they are rechargeable and/or high quality so they last longer, and take them home to recycle.
